Recipe For : Stuffed Mushrooms
Ingredients:
12 Large Mushrooms
1 Small Onion Minced
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon Minced Fresh Parsley
1 Egg
3 Tablespoons Breadcrumbs
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease the pan.
Wipe the mushrooms clean. Snap off the stems from the caps.
Finely chop the stems.
Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the chopped mushrooms with the minced onion. Saute for about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat. Stir in the parsley and egg. Season with salt and peppler. Add the breadcrumbs. Add more if needed until the mixture is stiff enough to hold together.
Place the mushrooms on the prepared baking sheet. Stuff each mushroom cap with a spoonful of filling, rounding it at the top of the cap.
Bake for 15 minutes or until the stuffing is puffy and crisp on top.
